Tueaday 5th November
Today we had our first meeting and I felt as though it went really well! It was very productive and we managed to really shape the content of our show. Our roles are as follows

Furthermore, our first live Radio show is themed around the brand new society at Lincoln University that is the ‘Cinema Society.’ Therefore after our first initial meeting I went on to email the president of the Cinema Society, to see if she would be willing to be our guest for our first live interview next week. I then went on to email a friend of mine who works at the Odeon to see whether we would be allowed to interview one of the managers their for our pre-recorded interview. Lastly, as I am apart of the Cinema Society myself, I am participating in the first cinema meeting and will be assisting with the recordings of the voxpops and I have had confirmation that I can do this from the president also. I then went on to email Brayford Radio to confirm when we could have our first training session, as we have only had our training session for Siren FM.
I cannot wait for this to all come together! I am aware that our first few shows are not going to be perfect and will include a lot of mistakes, however this will be a great learning curve for myself!

4th November
This is where the work really begins! I cannot wait to start planning ahead of our first show that will be airing on November the 15th on Brayford Radio! It is a great new opportunity to really get involved in Radio, and as producer I am extremely looking forward to driving my team into success. Throughout the week I will be updating you on the many activities and meetings that will be going ahead and what you can look forward to listening to as of next week. 🙂
